Taiwan shares end down as Fed officials dampen rate cut hopes
Taipei, Dec. 19 (CNA) Shares in Taiwan closed lower Tuesday after U.S. Federal Reserve officials made hawkish remarks which slashed hopes that the American central bank would cut rates next year, dealers said.
