Taiwan shares soar to end at 14-month high
Taipei, June 13 (CNA) Shares in Taiwan moved sharply higher Tuesday to close at a 14-month high after U.S. markets rallied overnight amid hopes that the U.S. Federal Reserve will not raise interest rates at this week’s policymaking meeting, dealers said.
