Taiwan shares tumble on back of U.S. heavy losses, rate hike fears
Taipei, Oct. 4 (CNA) Shares in Taiwan took a beating Wednesday shedding more than 180 points, as market sentiment was hit by steep losses suffered by the U.S. markets overnight and growing fears over a further rate hike by the Federal Reserve, dealers said.
