Taiwan shortens waiting period for employers to replace migrant workers
Taipei, May 12 (CNA) A legal amendment passed last month by Taiwan’s Legislative Yuan took effect on Friday, shortening the waiting period for employers to hire new migrant workers when such workers have absconded or a work contract has been dissolved.
