Taiwan’s economy stays in contraction but shows signs of improvement
Taipei, Aug. 28 (CNA) Taiwan’s economy stayed in contraction mode for the ninth consecutive month in July, but an index gauging the economic climate showed signs of improvement, indicating the local economy has hit the bottom, the National Development Council (NDC) said Monday.
