“They’re downing everything”: Ukraine’s Air Force Commander releases video of air defence at work

On the evening of 5 December, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, Ukraine’s Air Force Commander, posted footage of the air defence forces effectively downing Russian Shahed drones in the country’s south.

Quote: “Air Command South is kicking ass today! They’re downing everything, both enemy planes and attack drones!
Thanks to all involved for your work! The results [will be made public] in the morning! Trust in the air defence, believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine!”
Details: Oleshchuk said the video is of Shahed-type attack UAVs being destroyed in the country’s south, where anti-aircraft operations continue.
