Typhoons drive CPI growth in Taiwan to 9-month high: DGBAS
Taipei, Nov. 7 (CNA) Growth of Taiwan’s consumer price index (CPI) reached its highest level in nine months in October after food prices were pushed up by agricultural losses caused by several typhoons, the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) said Tuesday.
