UK Unemployment Rate, Pay Growth Tick Up

The U.K. unemployment rate stood at 3.9% in the first quarter of 2023, slightly higher than expectations, while pay growth continued to rise, reflecting a little slacking in the labor market and continuing pressures on employers to raise wages.
