Ukraine’s Defence Industry opens its representative office in US

Ukrainian Defence Industry JSC (also known as Ukroboronprom, a strategic manufacturer of weapons and military hardware in Ukraine) opened its first foreign representative office in Washington.

Quote: “We launched the first foreign representative office of Ukroboronprom JSC, in Washington, USA,” he posted.
Its major goals are to maximise the effectiveness of joint Ukrainian-American defence activities, interact with local businesses and government agencies, and negotiate the transfer of military technology.
Background:
- Ukrainian Defence Industry JSC signed a Memorandum of Intent to form a joint venture with American Amentum Services, Inc, a leading company in the field of global design, project management, and solution integration.
- Earlier, Ukrainian Defence Industry and Rheinmetall opened Ukraine’s first workshop for the repair and production of German armoured vehicles.
