Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence publishes data on Russian drone manufacturers

Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) is launching a new section on the War & Sanctions portal, featuring information on Russian manufacturers of weapons and military equipment.

Details: The first published category features manufacturers of Russian drones.
The section includes identification details of the companies, a description of their activities, a list of affiliated companies and a catalogue of drones.
- The platform allows users to navigate both by companies and drone models.
- For each company, links are provided to a list of foreign equipment they use, as well as the identified components found in their drones.
The published list includes data on 79 Russian companies involved in the production and supply of drones for the war against Ukraine. Among them are:
- The list includes companies involved in producing Russian versions of Iranian drones, such as the Shahed 136 – Geran and Harpia. These include PJSC OEZ PPT Alabuga, LLC Albatros, PJSC IEMZ Kupol and others engaged in manufacturing these drones and their components.
- Also featured is the Zala Aero Group, part of the Kalashnikov Concern, which produces loitering munitions like the Lancet and reconnaissance drones like Zala.
- Manufacturers of the Russian multipurpose drones Orion and Altaire, such as PJSC Kronstadt and PJSC Ural Civil Aviation Factory, are also listed.
- Additionally, the list highlights FPV drone producers that supply directly to Russian military units in Ukraine, organise fundraising and pilot training schools in temporarily occupied territories, and modify their products at the request of the Russian military.
