Details: The Ministry of Defence has codified and approved the BoarTAC universal unmanned multipurpose leading edge transport vehicle produced in Ukraine.
When designing the transport vehicle, the developers took into account the combat experience of Ukrainian defenders.
The ground robotic system reportedly has a low silhouette, is quiet and hard to notice, and is protected from bullets and debris. In addition, the device is easy to operate and maintain in the field. It has high cross-country ability and traction force.
Remotely controlled by an operator, the multipurpose vehicle can deliver ammunition and provisions.
The report adds that the multifunctional platform with special attachments installed on it is capable of evacuating casualties. Moreover, it can be used to carry out mine clearance or set up mine barriers with the help of attachments.
The ground robotic system can also become a mobile firepower, as it can be integrated with remotely controlled combat modules equipped with grenade launchers and machine guns. The transport vehicle can also be used as a kamikaze drone. Thanks to its wide tracks with large grips and protective bumper, the vehicle can overcome off-road terrain, ditches, and shallow water obstacles. At the same time, it can carry about 200 kg of cargo or pull a trailer with a similar weight.
Background: The Ministry of Defence has codified about 20 models of vehicles for the transport of heavy and oversized cargo.
