The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine considers dismissing three commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Details: According to the sources of Ukrainska Pravda, Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umierov is preparing to dismiss Tetiana Ostashchenko, Commander of Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, Commander of the Tavriia Operative-Strategic Grouping of Forces, and Serhii Naiev, Commander of Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Reportedly, paramedics and volunteers involved in medical supply of Ukraine’s Defence Forces insisted on the dismissal of Ostashchenko.
The reasons for the dismissal of Tarnavskyi, who is in charge of one of the fronts of the Ukrainian counteroffensive, were not disclosed.
The sources did not name the reasons for Naiev’s dismissal either. At the same time, according to the information of Ukrainska Pravda, he may become one of the main persons of interest in the proceedings about the defence of Kherson Oblast in 2022.
Ukrainska Pravda has turned to the Office of the President to receive a comment about the supposed dismissals of the commanders. Serhii Nikiforov, press secretary of President Zelenskyy, stated that if such a decision is made, it would be properly announced on the President’s website.
One of the sources notes that the issue of these people’s dismissal has been in consideration for several months.
