Ukraine’s government dismisses State Agency for Restoration Head Mustafa Nayyem

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution to dismiss Mustafa Nayyem from the position of head of Ukraine’s State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development.

Reportedly, the decision was made at a government meeting on 18 June.
In addition to Nayyem, the government dismissed his two deputies: Andrii Ivko and Valeriia Ivanova.
It is noted that the temporary performance of the duties of the Agency’s head has been entrusted to Roman Komendant.
Background: Mustafa Nayyem wrote a letter of resignation from his position as head of Ukraine’s State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development on 10 June, stating that systematic obstruction of his work was the reason.
