The Ukrainian U-20 national ice hockey team played the second match of the 2025 World Cup in Division IV on Sunday, 12 January.

Details: Following a strong victory over Estonia, the Ukrainian team prepared to face Poland, which had previously lost 4-7 to Italy.
The first period ended without a goal, but the next 20 minutes changed that.
Mykhailo Haponenko scored on a power play in the ninth minute, and Oleksii Yevtiekhov doubled the lead a minute and a half later. Later, Maksym Zherebko increased the score to a crushing one.
The third period of the match likewise yielded no goals, therefore the final siren announced Ukraine’s second victory, 3-0.
Ukrainian hockey players are rated top in their division, with a perfect record.
The Ukrainian national team will next face the Italian national team, which is presently placed second. The stand-off will take place on 14 January.
