Ukrainian Parliament dismisses Environment Minister Ruslan Strilets

The Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) has dismissed Ruslan Strilets as Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.

Details: 244 MPs voted in favour of the decision.

Ruslan Strilets was appointed Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine on 14 April 2022.
Background:

The Verkhovna Rada had previously voted for the dismissal of Oleksandr Kamyshin as Minister of Strategic Industries.
The Verkhovna Rada also voted for the dismissal of Olha Stefanishyna as Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.
