Ukrainian President’s Office chief believes Boryspil airport will resume operations soon

Andrii Yermak, Chief of the Ukrainian President’s Office, has voiced confidence that Boryspil airport will soon be able to depart and accept aircraft again, as “we can now ensure the security of this facility”.

Details: Yermak’s deputy, Andrii Sybiha, who also attended the meeting, added that Boryspil airport was the first facility to be closed in the wake of the outbreak of full-scale war, and it will be the first to resume operations once the security situation allows.
Background: In mid-November, Yermak reported that one of the civilian airports would probably return to service in Ukraine even before the war ends. The official never specified which one.
