United24 platform raises US$500 million in eighteen months

More than US $490 million has been raised since the moment of the launch of the United24 fundraising platform.

Quote: “The United24 fundraising platform has existed for a year and a half now. During this time, over $490 million from people all over the world has been raised, moreover, new ambassadors and companies join the project.”
Zelenskyy thanked everyone who keeps supporting Ukraine.
Last May, the Ukrainian president announced the launch of a global initiative United24, the first component of which is an online fundraising platform. It is possible to donate in one click from any country in the world via the u24.gov.ua website.
Background:
After a year since the launch of the UNITED24 fundraising platform, over US$325 million of donations were transferred to its accounts in the National Bank of Ukraine.
The biggest target fundraisings were:
- the fundraising for the first naval drones fleet – over UAH 500 million (US$13.9 million – ed.) were raised;
- the Azovstal Plant. Symbol of Invincibility fundraising campaign with total quantity of 100,000 bracelets made of batch of metal produced before the full-scale war and sold to 44 countries which helped raise almost UAH 300 million (about US$8 million – ed.);
- the Ukrainian Might. Made of Stone fundraising – thanks to the limited batch of Artemsil (salt produced in the town of Soledar in Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast), UAH 58.5 million (US$1,640,000 – ed.) were raised for kamikaze drones for Ukrainian intelligence.
