US imposes sanctions on Mali’s Defence Minister for cooperation with Wagner Group

The US Department of the Treasury imposed sanctions on 24 July against Malian Defence Minister Sadio Camara, and two other Malian military leaders who facilitated the activities of the Wagner Group Private Military Company (PMC) in their country.
