New York, Aug. 13 (CNA) Taiwan’s Vice President Lai Ching-te (賴清德) met with his supporters, held a luncheon with overseas compatriots and visited the New York Mets’ home stadium during a layover in New York Sunday on his way to Paraguay for the ally’s presidential inauguration.
