Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant completes drilling of water wells to cool reactors

Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) has completed the drilling of water wells to cool shut-down reactors.

The director of the IAEA reports that the Zaporizhzia NPP has completed drilling ten wells for underground water, which should cool the plant’s shut-down reactors after the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant in June.
