Zelenskyy announces new round of reshuffling

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the reshuffle in the government that took place this week is not all the changes he prepared.

Quote: “We continue to reset state institutions. There were several changes this week. And these are not all changes that have been prepared.
Today, there are new decrees concerning advisers. I am grateful to everyone for their work. We are making the office more functional.”
Background:
- On 26 March, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy fired Oleksii Danilov from the position of secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine and appointed to this position Oleksandr Lytvynenko, the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
- On 29 March, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Andrii Smyrnov and Oleksii Dniprov, two of the deputies of Andrii Yermak, the head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, and appointed Iryna Mudra and Olena Kovalska to these positions.
- On 30 March, Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed his first aide, Serhii Shefir, along with advisers Mykhailo Radutskyi, Serhii Trofimov, Oleh Ustenko, as well as extrabudgetary commissioners for volunteer activities and for ensuring the rights of defenders – Nataliia Pushkarova and Aliona Verbytska.
- Ukrainska Pravda reports that soon, a reshuffle is expected in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
