Zelenskyy spoke with the speaker of the US Congress, who opposes idea of “unlimited cheque” for Ukraine

On Tuesday, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with Kevin McCarthy, the speaker of the US House of Representatives.

According to the President, he thanked McCarthy for the bipartisan support of Ukraine from the US Congress, and also spoke about the course of hostilities and urgent defence needs of Ukraine in armoured vehicles, long-range artillery, air defence and aviation.
