Zelenskyy’s team sources say he is “tired” of Ukraine’s Prime Minister

Ukrainska Pravda’s sources close to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have said that he is “tired” of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and is likely to fire him.
Source: UP’s informed sources in Zelenskyy’s team
Quote: “The president is tired of Shmyhal; it is obvious in his attitude at meetings. He doesn’t even listen to him (Shmyhal) much anymore. It’s more of an emotional thing than a miscalculation…
Zelenskyy constantly wants some creative solutions and proposals, and Shmyhal, although he has grown in recent years, cannot change completely.”
Details: Another senior UP source said that this was “the second attempt to dismiss Shmyhal in the last two months”.
The sources say that Shmyhal may be replaced by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy.
Oleksii Chernyshov, former head of the Ministry of Regional Development and former chairman of the board of Naftogaz (largest national oil and gas company of Ukraine – ed.), is also being considered. However, there are doubts about his candidacy, especially after the investigation by the Prosecutor General’s Office into Chernyshov’s connection with Semen Kryvonos, Director of Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU); on one occasion, the NABU didn’t conduct searches at Chernyshov.
